Boundary Disputes

Boundary disputes sometimes arise between neighbours. They can relate to shared driveways, the correct placing of a fence, or the ownership of a tree or building that may appear to straddle both properties. They often involve allegations of obstruction & trespass such as a wall or fence being built on your land.
Our initial advice & assistance will usually be to try to resolve matters without the need for court proceedings. However, this is not always possible & you may need advice, & representation to resolve the dispute at HM Land Registry or in court. In these circumstances, it will normally be necessary to seek from the court a declaration as to the correct boundary, & where necessary, an injunction to remove and/or prevent further trespass.
